About Snæfellsnes peninsula Tour
We start out from Reykjavik towards Borganes.
Our first stop is one of our best salmon river where it may happen salmon jump up the waterfall and maybe we can see some fisherman catch one.
From there we continue into Snæfellsnes where you’ll see lots of craters like Eldborg one of most famous crater in Iceland
Next stop is the natural geothermal pool Sturlungalaug somtimes called Gudmundarlaug. Take a bath in the nature a unique experience.
Then we drive over to north part of the peninsula and have short stop to take pictures of Berserkjahraun and beautiful mountain wive.
If weather condiction is good we may have lunch (not included) in the lava field Berserkjahraun.
Grundarfjordur is a tipical Icelandic fishing village where mount Kirkjufell rise up from the sea Photo time!!!!!!
We drive thru fishing villages, Olafsvik, Hellisandur, Rif
Next stop. Djupalon black pebble beach cliffs and open Atlantic ocean
From there we continue to Arnarstapi from where we will do a short hike to Arnarstapi harbour and enjoy the amazing view over the basalt columns and rock formations.
Last stop is Budir. Here you will se one of the most photographed church in Iceland. A small black church from 1703.
Now we head back to Reykjavik.
This tour is camera friendly and you will see lava fields, craters, waterfall, black beach, white beach, mountains, glacier, cliffs …..
– Pick up at departure outside at your hotel
– Lunch stop at Grundarfjörður
– Estimated arrival back in Reykjavik is around 7 pm (19:00)
